At the heart of it all is Krissy — a lifelong music teacher turned creative force. With over 30 years of classroom and studio experience, she brings music, play, and connection into every beat.
Whether she’s performing her original parody of Copacabana to tell Lola’s origin story, learning how to animate the band for live singalongs, or tweaking her Barbie-style teacher action figure (yes, with a bun and red glasses) — Krissy is all in.
🐙 Meet Lola
Then there’s Lola — a drumming, dreaming octopus who just might have inspired Octopus’s Garden herself. Discovered in Lahaina, Maui by Krissy’s husband Jimmy, Lola has gone from stuffed animal to star. She’s the heartbeat of the band and the sparkle in every story.
🎸 Enter Lil Jimmy
Krissy’s guitar-strumming, ukulele-playing husband — also known as Lil Jimmy — shows up in reels with a baby-face filter and an epic Beatles tune on his lips. He’s the co-captain of this magical musical universe and the one who first spotted Lola in Hawaii.
