Hi South Sioux City Families!
Thank you for welcoming me Lola and the Lads into your schools and classrooms!
My name is Krissy, I recently moved to South Sioux City and began substitute teaching in the district this past January. I am a teacher, music educator, and lifelong Beatles fan, who believes music can bring joy, connection, confidence, and can be a lifetime companion for children.
With the assistance of Lola, my sweet purple octopus, along with the Beatles aboard our Yellow Submarine, we offer a fun and engaging way to help kids sing, move, imagine and experience music together.
This summer, I wanted to offer something simple and joyful for local families while school is out: 2 FREE 30 Minute Sing-a-longs with me, Lola & The Lads in my online Zoom classroom. (Even without a tablet or device, many phones are able to connect to Zoom Sessions)
These singalongs will be filled with music, movement, laughter, and lots of “peace and love!” I’m so excited to continue building relationships in the South Sioux City community and can’t wait to sing with your families this summer!

The two dates I have chosen (but am open to offering more)
are Friday June 5, at 6:30 pm CST and Monday June 8, at 6:30 pm CST. Please feel free to join the zoom class with members of your family as well. We would love to see some Grandmothers, Grandpas, Aunties, Uncles and especially siblings! Have them all there with you when you come to the class.
We will be singing some classics that the kids have been learning in school this year, including:
“Yellow Submarine,'“ “Octopus’s Garden,” “Here Comes The Sun,” “I Want To Hold Your Hand” and many more..
